Seems that we are a small group so let's introduce ourselves

Heya! I'm Nykeisha and I'm an 18 year old MTF transsexual. :)

I love art, and I consider make-up/clothing/etc. all forms of art :) <3 and I love music.

Testosterone rots the brain(but keeps me sane!)

So yes by that remark, I did start hormones, and now look like a 18 year old guy hahahaha, well it depends who's looking, some people see me as my real age of 21, but not many. Still youthful looks aren't so bad. ;P
It means I can pass for an angst riddled teenager, rather than a jaded 20 something.

So been on hormones for over a year now, and have calmed down quite a bit. Still saving for chest surgery, I would gladly donate my tissue to some MtF's(I currently live with two, so they can have a boob each hahaha)
Other than dealing with my chest for probably another year, its going well.

Started getting some proper skills in the hospitality industry, going to train to be a chef next year, currently doing stuff for front of house silver service.
I feel it's important to have people in that industry to be accepting of all people, it can be very bigoted at times(my mums a chef and knows from first hand how bad it can get)
So yeah... Fun times... Currently stealth at my school and work though. But in my private life, where I can relax then its all open and gravy.
I must be vigilant to not hide in the woodwork.
Though my need to not have my male identity compromised works against me at times.

Still what new stuff have I been listening too? Well Janelle Monae, and Kimbra. Then there's the ever amazing Grace Jones. Yea I think pop is in a good space at the moment.
I will never deter from my Ani DiFranco or Chili's though.
Catch 22's album Permanent Revolution is a good one, themed by the Russian Revolution. Fun Third wave Ska.

That it from me, for maybe another year hahaha...

Next year is going to be a struggle money wise, trying to keep saving for surgery, yet my best friend has his 21st, he lives in Sydney, Australia(I'm in NZ!) and then my FtM mentor is moving back to Chicago to get married to his lady of many years! So I've got to save save save!

Hello everyone. I'm somewhat new to Last FM and am glad to have found this group! I am pre-op MTF currently 107 days or some such into HRT. :) I adore Darkwave, Industrial, Aggrotech, Synthpop/EBM and Gothic music in general. I am looking forward to getting to know you all.
