Tiesto - more a spinner than a DJ but what an experience

Judge Jules - really can play the crowd and is crossing the boundaries

Gabriel & Dresden - could do no wrong

hi there hun, i havent seen tiesto no - its just never worked out but i do go out every weekend and i only go to hear music i like so its trance, hard-dance or hard-house all the way cause i love to rave. So even though i aint seen him, i have seen quite a few decent and not so decent D.J.'s.
As for tiesto - i love his early work better than the stuff he been throwing about recently - its a bit too soft house for me, but i still love alot of what he has done and listen tyo his stuff alot cause of it. Av seen Jules a few times once years ago and only last month as he was playing the gatecrasher night at digi!! In all fairness i thought he was totally crap like. Matt Hardwick before him rocked the place n his work is far more exciting than Jules like. I just dont rate him very much at all. In the last year av seen so many amazing dj's than him bangin out the black eyed peas when everyone was there for the trance music just didnt do it for me one bit - it crossed a boundary alright but not a one ya meant too. Matt hardwick wiped the floor wiv him man. Out of the ones av seen this year ad say that markus schultz was amazing, alex M.O.R.P.H too, above and beyond and probably Bryan Kearney. They played amazing tracks - mixed perfectly - each in there own unique style set apart from the other and they all on different nights absolutely rocked the place n there wasnt a cheesy pop song for miles - which to be honest if a wasnt to here that ad get in for free in the shit club round the corner and get bombarded with it none stop all night for free instead of playing 15-25 quids just to get though the door like - sorry but blacked eyed peas n micheal jacko driftin out across the dancefloor on a gatecrasher night just aint my cup of tea - probably more for the radio one listeners like. Think ad rather hear tiesto spin than gan see the judge again like - defo x

Why the fuck am I not seeing anything by Oliver Lieb :o The man's a genius, Spicelab, L.S.G., Solieb, Paragliders etc?

Sasha.

Basically back in the day stuff, when trance wasn't commercial and for the money [shame], and not mainstream crap. And mainly producer wise, not DJ's as such.

Also, i'm seeing alot of Eurodance crap on these lists. Yes, I know Aphex Twin and Oliver Lieb don't produce solely Trance, but they've released Trance tracks.

Armin makes number one for me because of his passion for the music and he has always makes the sets he plays unforgettable and this demands a huge respect for me. He and Eddie are some of the few DJ's who have made the hairs on my neck stand up at their sets!

If I had to pick a relative unknown DJ to recommend it would be Cor Fijneman. He usually mixes some classic Trance in with his sets and he is without doubt one of the best DJ I have seen perform. Its a shame his exploits don't bring him to Ireland more often :(
