Exodus vs. Testament

Two true titans of the bay area thrash metal scene. One question though: Which is better?

mmh exodus is my fav, because i think exodus are a bit faster and the vocals are much better

Testament.

On the basis that i prefer the vocals. Also, they haven't gone too far from their Thrash roots which can't be said for all the new metal-corey Exodus stuff.

Can you give me sanctuary, I must find a place to hide, a place for me to hide..

Their songs are more interesting and their music is more complicated imho

I haven't heard Exodus so much so I say Testament. And I have seen Testament live.

Testament (because they still retain the same sound line), but i love the OLD Exodus too...the new Exodus is a great s**t

I think Exodus is better now, because last Testament album is ...not bad, but not brilliant either... but Testament is always Testament, thrashig, ...Exodus have for many "new" influences from that metalcore bullshit...

i havent heard much exodus apart from the first album, but i like testament better, especially on the two first albums

I'd prefer Exodus, but I don't know many songs of Testament, so I'd say both are great bands.

Opposite for me. New Exodus rocks.

Though, looking at the overall perfomance of each band, I gotta hand it to Testament.
