Decapitated is not brutal death metal, they are normal generic death metal, and they had one good release.
Melodic Death is gay.
Judas Priest is NWOBHM all the way and not speed. Exciter is speed.
Helloween is the only good power metal band.
Dimmu Borgir isn't even real black metal.
Finntroll is a joke, though they're a pretty cool joke.
Cynic is awesome.
Death was death/thrash early on and prog/death later on, never pure death metal, and Nile is overrated and generic.
Maiden is awesome.
Sepultura's early stuff is good and that's it--Pantera is probly the best groove (also referred to as "post thrash) band.
Chuck Shuldiner fanboys piss me off.
