    My favourite music for studying is probably the Selected Ambient works of Aphex Twin, especially for logical things, like maths, but I also prefer post-rock bands, like Mogwai or Explosition in the Sky. And idm, in general is a good choice for me, too.

  • I just love listening to any music I like when I'm studying, which is actually bad cos if I hear anything at all that I'm a fan of I can't help but sing and/or dance along, (it's a condition!). So yeah, music actually hampers my studying, but I'll never learn...

    There was a young man from Nunhead
    Who awoke in a coffin of lead;
    'It's cosy enough,'
    He remarked in a huff,
    'But I wasn't aware I was dead.'
  • XrustyXtoothX same here :D I listen to whatever comes from my mp3 player :D

    For them its music.For me its life.
    Im a Morrison and Mercury fan.Classic Rock.That is all.

    Basically anything without words, because when I'm studying I'm either reading or writing.

    So instrumental music, or actually classical piano music, I can listen to and study at the same time. Anything with words messes up my head.

  • some relaxing music like Board of Canada, maybe Aphex Twin

  • I usually like to study to stuff like Massive Attack, Frou Frou, and Imogen Heap, but sometimes I'll go in the opposite direction and listen to stuff like Shinee, BigBang, the Strokes, and the Arctic Monkeys. It really depends I guess.

  • rosi golan, joe purdy, damien rice, eddie vedder, death cab for cutie

  • Mahavishnu Orchestra. Perfect for studying, when I'm actually studying
