Frankie Dunlop was still Monk's drummer in May of '63, and Butch Warren was the bass player. Ben Riley replaced Dunlop in March of '64 and Larry Gales replaced Butch Warren a couple of months later.
Two days after this concert, Monk, Rouse, Warren, & Dunlop made a Japanese TV broadcast (widely bootlegged) which is good but almost predictable for what they were doing at this time. I'll probably pick up the CBS/Sony release unbeknoneth asked about to hear if any sparks flew, but I'm skeptical.
