  In case SK-Futhark is still interested in an answer: yes, JSA is good. :) Not as great as the Vengeance trilogy, but worth seeing if you're a fan of the people in/behind it (I am too). There are some great scenes in it, but yeah, I wouldn't say it's brilliant (like the trilogy. Yes, Uelkse, the first one too. ;) And the one Futhark mentioned - A Bittersweet Life - is another similar but more action-y movie from Korea that I'd recommend).

  So I love oldboy! Mrs Vengeance was really good! Is the first one worth the hype? I will watch it anyways but what do you think about it? And are there any other good movies from korea you could recommend?

  What's your favourite? for me it has to be oldboy. You can prpbably appreciate the geius of it even more if you know about the kafka and sophocles influences (not read kafka myself, but after looking up the term 'kafkaesque' on wikipedia and reading murakami's kafka on the shore, I can get an idea of how he influenced oldboy). Has anyone seen Park Chan-Wook's JSA? It's got the man who played Kim Woo Sun in Bittersweet Life, and the father in Sympathy for mr and the woman from Sympathy for lady. I like all three actors, and the director of course, so I wondred how good it is.

  Hey! I have seen one of Bong Joon-ho movies. Just one day before that new one of Chan-wook. It was called: The Host / Gwoemul. Quite humouristic. And that fish was so funny ^^ But I guess It's quite different of that one recommended by You. I also like that japanese director Tsukamoto Shinya, I've seen Vital and The Nightmare Detective.

  Someone has seen his new movie - I'm a Cyborg but That's Ok. / Saibogujiman kwenchana I just have seen it in cinema few days ago! It's brilliant! I was so impressed... Quite different comparing to the Vengeance Trilogy, but it was wonderful!
