Dekkul The Velvet Underground isn't the only "Connected Artist" with this group, there are dozens more, starting with the band members: Lulu, John, Morrison, Moe and finishing with other artists/bands that they've worked with like Brian Eno, David Bowie, The Modern Lovers or Patti Smith. Even Metallica. And their history doesn't come to an end with Loaded.

LeftCoastRyda lol Squeeze is absolutely atrocious. I feel sorry for the original members of the group having to deal with Squeeze being released under the VU name. Kind of a travesty really. And that's just on it's own merits. It's quality drops even more into the dumps when you put it up to the four albums with Lou at the helm.

'Squeeze' is a good album. I don't care if it doesn't sound like Velvet Underground. Although the other 4 albums are considerably better. 'Squeeze' is like listening to 'Cool it Down' ten times over, and that's good. Doug just seems like a bunch of fun. 'Squeeze' is also miles better than most of Reid's solo work, 'The Bells' is unbearable.
