Slash- 'Slash" album

omg, i see no movements here, so thought it`d be good to ask about your feelings of Slash`s new album, what do you consider of its best parts, worst (if there could be any) and so on.. come on guys, it`s time to write!;d

Just great! I especially like 'Promise'. Other songs are also good - i just fall in love : D

yeah, it`s good, but what about that instrumental 'watch this'? isn`t it gorgeous?
also Iggy Pop, Ozzy.. that`s great they are there!

Almost forgot about 'Starlight'! That intro is awesome! Everyday i discover something new in each song... : )

heeey !!! the album is very good , i like the song with m.shadows: "nothing to say"

but the best for me is "ghost" , and the japanese song is very funny xD

worst part... "there are any worst song?" xDDD

ghost's main riff is epic :) Also like song feat. fergie called beautiful dangerous, she really knows how to sing rock songs. Whole album is terrific a lot of varieties of music styles.

As far as I am concerned, this album is an ultimate rock and roll record. It's diverse and it's rocking all the way, with top-notch performances from everyone involved. No disappointment from rock and roll's most notorious names, as well as some pleasant surprises, most notably Fergie (the gall sure can sing rock and roll!).

Promise and By The Sword have to be my personal favorites, but the Baby Can't Drive riff really gets me going too, not to mention the amazing instrumental work on Watch This.

No filler songs on this album, that's for sure. If there's anything better than this released in 2010, I will be really damn surprised!

I love "Nothing to say", "Doctor Alibi", "Gotten" and "Starlight" is fucking amazing!!!

Perfection is NON-EXISTENT. Stop trying so hard to be NOTHING!

Yep, I've seen the video and frankly, it doesn't do anything for me. It's an okay video, no more, no less. The sort of you'll watch once and won't bother no more. Then again Slash was never big on those huge production movie-like videos they did with Guns for November Rain or Estranged.

I've grown tired of those boring one-liners people are ruining seemingly interesting threads with. The point I am trying to make is, put more effort into your writing or don't bother at all.

The album's pretty hard to judge as a whole due to its immense diversity, there's a few great songs (my personal favorites being "Crucify the Dead", "Beautiful Dangerous", "Gotten" and "Doctor Alibi"), but sadly a whole lot of them are pretty pop-ish sounding to me, like Slash kinda went in the wrong direction or picked the wrong influences.

In the end, it's not a masterpiece of any kind, but sure an enjoyable listen.
