Well Catherine's a pretty fun game, the production value is pretty impressive. The opening song is classic Atlus, it's so bad and yet so good.

It's pretty much a puzzle game, gotta arrange blocks to keep climbing higher as the level falls. But yeah there's an "affinity" gauge thing for good/evil which affects what happens to the character in the story. Music is pretty cool, no undub but the english voice cast is pretty decent, as most atlus/NIS releases are.

Graphics and cut scenes are very sharp looking.

i never ever had a dreamcast, so i wouldn't be able to recommend anything :( hope you have fun with it though.

as for me i recently picked up conker's bad fur day from a dusty old drawer that hadn't been opened in several years and i'm remembering just how great of a game it was. hence the avatar. also gonna play the banjo kazooie games again too

Wasn't the ultimate downfall of the Dreamcast that it was easily hackable? Any of the NFL 2K games were great as was both Jet Set Radio and Shenmue. Maybe you could find some torrents.

I'm thinking about giving up on Halo: Reach because the game sort of sucks and becoming a World of Warcraft player.

Or I'll retire until Halo 4 comes out and just make montages or something.

lol yeah, i told my friends that the only condition in which i would actually play halo reach would be if someone bought it for me. which could very well happen, actually; i have a friend who promised me he'd buy me a live subscription, so who knows what else people will throw at me next. i'm planning on getting a good gaming rig built in the near future, but i had bought an xbox 360 a couple of years ago on some stupid impulse so i might as well use that to play with some friends in the meantime. i'm doing it all for them...

I've decided that I'm going to just play Final Fantasy X again, and finish off the one game I have on Suikoden II where it is the part before the final boss at L'Renouille.

Have you played the previous Halos? Those were amazing. Reach is a bit shit. I actually got banned from the 343i forums for using profanity when I talked down on the game. I called it something like "wack ass shit". Their forums auto block words like ass and shit so I wrote "<---- @ss shxt" after that, and got a one day ban.

Haha, he's a bit odd. I wish they would have gotten a better voice actor for him, since he's sort of the only weak link in the cast. Still, FFX is a favorite of mine. I've still never beaten FFVII, so maybe I could do that.

I once got as far as the Temple of the Ancients in FFVII using only Cloud, his initial equipment, no accessories and no materia. Someday I'll finish that save file. There are similar challenges for FFX too, actually - they involve not using the sphere grid and doing tons of item mixing shit with Rikku and wot.
