I had an ear infection last fall, it went away in around 3-4 weeks on its own without treatment.

I discovered yesterday that old-school Sudafed (with pseudoephidrene) was still available in the UK, and that they'd just moved it behind the counter. What they didn't tell me was that they'd treat you like a junkie if you asked for it.

"It can really give you a buzz on, can't it?" said the pharmacist, as he WINKED at me.

But with all the palpitations it gave me yesterday, I'm not sure i'll be taking it again. It's quite funny stuff when you abuse it, and abuse it I did. I take for granted that the recommended dosage is just being a bit coy, and I tend to step it up too much with just about everything.

Sounds like an awesome idea.

Swishing salt water around in your mouth should -sting like hell- fix that.

Yeah salt/perozide + water solution always help. Just annoying for a few days.

In other news I'm glad I saved some vicodin from my wisdom teeth extraction surgery, the anxiety and stress over shipping out next Tuesday is killing me. I probably really shouldn't take them but they kinda take the edge off. Though anxiety, vicodin and Paruresis really don't mix too well.

Root abscess caused paranasal sinuses. Now I have my root canal opened and I'm on antibiotic. Sadly headache and fever seems to be just fucking unstoppable.

urrrrrrrrrrgh. Caught a cold just in time for my birthday (tomorrow). It's oddly appropriate that I feel like death on the anniversary of my birth.
