Sylvia Plath's son killed himself. Talk about a doomed line. God, I feel all depressed now.

  • I won't be fully glad until the British press stop fucking talking about her. Pretty sure it's been front page stuff for like 2 months now and today I saw a 20 page (!) tribute special on the coffee table.

Pretty funny considering she was the most hated person in Britain just two years ago.

Thanks. I was busy. My wife paid me a visit today. She's in the country at this time of year, if think she wanted to catch me with some chick, but she didn't, so we had some time for ourselves. Next think I know, I got this phone call from my colleague, who came to Warsaw to play a gig tonight and wanted to hang out. We ate some late lunch, we went to the club, I got drank with one beer I didn't stay for a gig, cause his band is real shitty (boring new wave with pretentious lyrics) and here I am. It was good birthday, really. It started yesterday. Yesterday my bro paid me a visit. Also yesterday was the day I accidentally met my ex-girlfriend, wonderful person, who was always my friend and even our relationship didn't ruin that (this doesn't happen often, believe me), but she moved to Italy, and came to Warsaw for one day only. And we met. How incredible. She was in a hurry, so we had very little time to talk, but it was still very pleasant meeting. So this weekend was great and I'm sorry for Ballard, heck of a writer.

Sounds like a good wandering-the-streets, accidental kind of birthday. Though as a birthday post on the dead thread, it reminds me of a speech from Waiting for Godot.

I doubt it was staged. She didn't even know that it was mine neighborhood. Plus when she left (I gave her a glass of water and some toilet paper for her dripping nose) I thought something like "I married the right girl."

Well, but let's not focus on me, here. It's the dead thread after all.

Speaking of theater, Stefan Brecht is dead.

I'm not going to watch it again(!), but it memory serves, Dimbleby did the decent thing and cut him off. Anyhoo, back on topic, him and Bea Arthur ftw.

Edit: Also Peter O'Toole, Leslie Philips and my wildcard, Amy Winehouse. Don't judge me.

    *gasp* I called it!

Thankyou for being a friend Bea Arthur!
