Things that bother us.

  • That sounds like techno-gospel. Horrifying.

Still, I'd prefer that to pop-country. Or Rush.

Why is Bela Lugosi's Dracula a film classic? It's embarrassing. Barring one or two shots. Apparently the money ran out and they had to make a downscale film based on the campy stage play, with fake armadillos and bats on fishing wire. I'm so disillusioned. I hired it for the new Philip Glass soundtrack, which is too good for it.

Ah heck, how am I going to be an English lecturer with those kinds of close reading skills?

Oh well, my hea(r)t still goes out to you. I suggest chocolates and ice cream on the couch with Love Actually and a big woolly blanket.

  • you know, when i first wrote that i also thought the same thing. most likely because i finished my final edit of that broken hearted song thing i was writing.

    i appreciate your sympathy.

  • Patrick McGoohan's dead.

  • I overdrew mine too. Thank god it's connected to my savings, so I think I solved the problem before it actually became one. Textbooks killed me this semester; I thought I had plenty of money. Now I don't.

I bought a ticket to see Andrew Bird, thinking I knew at least two people who wanted to go, but now it's sold out and I don't think anyone but me got a ticket. if the show were in Athens I would assume that I could go and know people there, but it's in Atlanta so I don't know what to do.

That was then, this is dumb.

35th Anniversary is this July 24th, Cameron. We gotta plan something big. Like play Vigilante 8 all day. I dunno yet, but that's a possibility.

  • thanks. could of been worse, I guess. they left most my stuff intact, since they can't do much with books, records and an outdated external hard drive. though, it's not so much what was taken, but the fact that it happened. I'll live.

They should be storming the Winter Palace and robbing the Czar, but that bitch has CCTV.

Sorry about the robbery (sympathy, not guilt) ... the feeling that someone's been riffling through your shit is unsettling and not at all nice.

  • some say burglary is the highest form of flattery.... but not many people say that

I'd say boots are worth it. I got a pretty cute pair from Target recently that were nice and cheap.
And I spent $72 at H&M over the weekend too. Buy one get one free on sales items!

That was then, this is dumb.
