Things that bother us.

  • If a meeting doesn't come with 'refreshments' I am walking every time.

Mine's been collecting dust for a year only because I can't be arsed to look into the sync business. Need to take care of it before biking weather, though.

Grrr, haven't had the time to be around and now don't have the needed concentration to check out what is actually been happening.

Right here. Even a police friend of mine (from the same town) said it was BS.

  • Maybe they were trying to fulfill some kind of end of the month quota. Still, ridiculous.

  • I saw the same cop today, camped out on the same corner with the radar gun hanging out of the car like a camera. I almost gave him the finger.

Should've busted out your "I-have-a-little-penis-and-can't-satisfy-my-wife" radar and given him a ticket for being a impotent fuckstick.

"Reciprocity, Mr. Hudgens, is the key to every relationship."

Dropped my laptop, shattered my screen. £160. Lesson: don't drop your laptop.

  • In the 7 months that I've been back home (typing that alone is enough to make me despair), I've seen my best friend from high school twice. In November I bought a scoutmob thing for a dinner for 2 with drinks and whatever at this place we like for her birthday, and now it expires in two days and we haven't used it because she's cancelled on me every time I've tried. I'm so pissed. She needs to get back to me RIGHT NOW if she can't go so I can find someone else. Even then I've got like 2 options, both of whom will probably also be busy because everything is the worst. It shouldn't be this hard to take a friend to dinner when I'm paying. This sucks this sucks this sucks.

That was then, this is dumb.

Theresa May really doesn't want me to live in Britain.

  • Does this mean we're not meeting for a beer now?

Maybe, though I shall be dressed thusly.

No, I think I'll be able to stay in London, but only for a couple of months.

  • This won't mean anything to anybody, but I hate that NME is still around while Melody Maker went under.

That means something to me. But wasn't NME good at some point, in the deep pre-history?

  • Possibly during the Tony Parsons, Julie Burchill days, but I'd prefer to think not.

I interviewed Tony Parsons once. He's a nice lad.

  • Weird. Can't imagine any of his writing has international appeal.
