Does it really only cost $70 to fill a Hummer? You've got the cheapest fuel in the western world.

Saw that episode of Red Eye (been staying up past 3 AM a lot lately). He also said that he would vote for John Wayne Gacy (or some other serial killer, I forget which) over Obama in the same episode.

What's funny about him saying that is that John Wayne Gacy would probably be to the left of Obama....well maybe not since Gacy was apparently involved in the Democratic party and was photographed with Rosalynn Carter (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wayne_Gacy#Businessman_and_community_volunteer).

your poasts are all profanities, your sig isn't worth the electrons it's displayed with

I'm sure. I have some of the cheapest fuel in the country and like a 13 gallon tank, and it's not unusual for it to take $40 to fill my car.

That was then, this is dumb.
  • The future is not evenly distributed.

Not along cultural lines, along language lines, along political, economic, class, or generational lines. And most certainly not along gender lines. A significant portion of the digital world proceeds on the quiet, probably subconscious meme that the future belongs to men and women are just along for the ride.

Oh, sure, some women can play with the big boys. If they act right. But not the girly ones. They're feminine, therefore: weak and frivolous and shallow and shrill.

    They can do the laundry.

I especially like the part about US being the only country with the moral authority to do pre-emptive strikes and the only country that doesn't seek hegemony in the world.

Stupid British Labour. Completely failed to make the case that austerity is economically (not to mention socially) foolish - now would be a great time (UK back in recession, recovering slower than Europe, recovering slower than it did in the 1930s) to bring that message home.

  • They need this guy again.

  • That's because (New) Labour are entirely signed up to the neoliberal project. To put it another way, their policies are driven by the market, not vice versa.
