I'm in the first (?) stage of bad cold. I'm eating tons of garlic (which is pretty cool) and lemons (and that one sucks big time). The fucking worst thing is, that this week I have to be cool, sober and healthy. The Residents gig is at Wednesday and Friday is for Anouar Brahem. Plus I took few days off at work anyway. I just can't afford to lie down in bed with flue.

  • I need to find the best deal for an external hard drive.. I've heard that the Thanksgiving sale is pretty generous on the pocket.

Black Friday deals might be worth checking out. I got a good deal on a Sony VAIO laptop last year. Although, I hear that this year it will be a Red Friday with the American economy being as bad as it is, and consumer shopping decreasing.

Tom Yum Gai is the best cure I know of, especially in the early stages of a cold. And Sudafed. I love me some Sudafed. It's so good it's basically like cheating nature and taking speed at the same time. But I'm pretty sure they don't go in for pseudoephedrine in Poland.

It just struck me that the only Lou Reed album I actually own a physical copy of is Metal Machine Music.

Woah woah.. Sudofed works yes, but it won't cure you.. it will only make you feel like you no longer have a cold temporarily, my mum had a cold one, just kept popping sudofed and because she just went about her life like she didn't have a cold she eventually got pneumonia.. the most important thing is a lot of sleep and healthy food.

  • You're right of course, but I was just thinking about when I had to work in an office like Funio, and taking time off wasn't always an option. These days I stick with Tom Yum.

I'm still not healthy and there's no way I could take few days off or get enough sleep. But I managed to see Residents and Brahem live. The latter gig was the best thing I experienced while wearing pants.Every note was perfect.

  • I was going to see them in NYC, but tickets were $40!
though, I'm sure for Residents enthusiasts like you, that's nothing.

I would honestly pay upwards of $100 to see The Residents live, but I don't think Winnipeg will ever be in their touring schedule. :(

  • I only had to pay $27.50 for their Philly show. Sucks for you guys. Did they do an encore, Funio?

  • seriously? wtf?!

Yes they did. But that was one, short song from Animal Lover. Can't remember the title, but I'll check it if You want. I payed 110 Zlotych = 38 dollars.

  • Was it "My Window"? That's the encore they did for Philly. It was bliss, what a great fucking song.

You're right. "My window" was encore. Then they danced to some creepy southern tune.

By the way, two my friends got sick, so they asked me to sell their tickets. I sold them to my coworker and his girlfriend. They never heard any song by The Residents but they bought the tickets and went to see the show expecting the regular band doin' a regular gig. They were surprised and amazed.

At this moment few things are known for sure. I think it's time for little resume. Firstly, there is conspiracy going on. I think the name of this organization is Club St. Francis. This op is Revenge. Secondly plan is - more or less - simple: humans are thinking like animals, animals are acting like humans. Of course both groups wants the same thing. They want me mad.

Humans obliged me to do great amount of extra work. No extra money was mentioned. But there was mentioned that if I the work won't be done (yes I do not give a single fuck about conditional sentences of any type whatsoever) I will loose my job. Meanwhile the other project I'm working on has reached the state of complete utter absurdity. But I knew all this yesterday. And I was not very happy about it. I mean working with UFO girl and spy is one thing but work during Christmas is the other thing (at least I'll be working alone, cause everyone will be at home opening presents, making love, drinking singing carols etc. if they're lucky they can do it simultaneously). I can handle that. Also I can handle sitting on my bottom in the office for 12 hours per day too. I can handle not seeing my wife and kids for few weeks. Not because I need a little space. I just can handle a lot.

But new facts has occurred few moments ago. And this is what I wanted to share with You. And I'm talking about unchecked aggression here.

As I was smoking in front of office an identified bird bombed me with his chemical load. This will not stand, ya know, this aggression will not stand, man. I had to wash sleeve of my shirt in the toilet. And then dry it. Of course Club St. Francis has agents everywhere, so the dryer was broken. It was emitting cold air for 2 seconds and stopping. It took me half an hour to get the shit of me. I think this is the touring point. The milestone. The sign. Someone up there gives a shit about me.

    I want a garden.

I knew that creating group dedicated to him will have consequences.

  • You washed it out?! The Gods present you with a gift and you wash it out.... in a toilet?! Uh oh, Zorz.... The Great Flying Spaghetti Monster will not stand for this! I would be wary of all pasta in the near future in fear of being strangled by his Noodly Appendage or drowning in a hot pool of marinara sauce. You will be in my prayers Zorz, RAmen.

(By the by: everytime I see you writing "You" in the middle of a sentence I think you are personally talking to me. Keep up the good work!)

I really adore this album of Beatles covers.

    Mother Nature's Son

  • all right, so my roomie and i are both sitting in our apt and we can hear mysterious sounds coming from an apt below us or outside. so we open the door and start eavesdropping.

we cannot figure out what this sound is... sounds like a chain dragging or garden rocks being kicked or scrabble pieces being tinkered with.

accompanied with it is a couple fighting. bitch is crazy. f bombs flying, lots of blaming him for things he doesn't do, sleeping too much that kinda thing. he is being really nice about it/ kind of condescending but not freaking out back her. lots of baby i love you but youre acting crazy and then she starts hitting him. like we can hear the sound of a dude being hit from standing in the stairway.

CRAZY!!!!!! what is the sound?!?!?!?! i need to know!!!

I don't think that a chain dragging or garden rocks being kicked or scrabble pieces being tinkered with are anything close to being one coherently explained sound.

Unless someone is dragging a chain through their in-apartment scrabble garden.
