Recently our Italian friends changed the name of their band in Rhapsody of Fire.
This is the first album under their new name.

Just like Luca Turilli's latest 2 albums this one has leaked far before the official release date. The album will be released on the 25th September but can already easiliy be found to download.

I have listened to it twice by now and I have to that it sounds really good. Rhapsody continues where they ended 2 years ago with Symphony Of Enchanted Lands II - The Dark Secret. The album is as usual a continous story told from song to song.

If you liked the previous works of the inventors of Symphonic Epic Hollywood Metal, you will absolutely like this one too.

Haven't discovered a catchy song like Wisdom of the Kings, Land of Immortals, Holy Thunderforce, Power of the Dragonflame and March of the Swordmaster yet...

The last song contains parts of an earlier song, haven't figured out which one.

And... Christoper Lee is present again on this album, if I have heard it right.


For now I'll rate it 9/10
