The "Amen Break", "Amen", or imitations thereof, are frequently used as sampled drum loops in hip hop, jungle, breakcore and drum and bass music. It is 5.20 seconds long and consists of 4 bars of the drum-solo sampled from the song "Amen, Brother" as performed by the 1960s funk and soul outfit The Winstons.

It's real silly that Ray Keith and Shy FX aren't connected artists. Jungle pioneers when most of these artists thought music-making was pressing a demo button on a $99 Casio keyboard. Technical Itch and Limewax have used it to near perfection on multiple occasions too.
