This group is for anyone from or living in Thanet - the Isle of the Dead!

Thanet is a local government district of Kent, England which was formed under the Local Government Act 1972, and came into being on 1 April 1974. It occupies the area known as the Isle of Thanet and is governed by Thanet District Council. The main towns in the district are Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs.

Last it came to my attention i was under the impression most people were in-breeds .I'm sure i'm not that far fro m the mark .The only blessing as i should imagine as mos was i was never born here.Apart form that screw K.C.C (You know who you are )And my best wishes to everyone else ..All the best ..but in my opinion kill Kronos bomb thanatos ..Ends love ?kris

If anyone can think of other bands from Thanet (of the surrounding areas like Canterbury, Ashford etc) add them to the bands connections. Plus is anyone going to Zoo Fest? Fucked Up are playing - might be worth a trip to Port Lyme!
