This fourm is for anyone who likes Slint, or any of the groups that the members of Slint helped to create or define.

please say hello if you join, it'd be nice if we can get it all working steady. Also, Topics in the fourm do not have to be directly related to music, because well i don't care really.

QueenOfBurgundy - I agree with what you say about Spiderland influencing more bands, but Tweez is still a solid first album. Wish my old band came even close! (sure at the time we thought we did, but it's fucking terrible really, in the cold hard light of 10 years later). Tweez has some ordinary moments, but there is a bit of a blueprint for Spiderland there at times. I think Tweez displays obvious connections with the bands that Slint formed from, whereas Spiderland was more striking out on their own, if ya know what I mean? Anyway - I'm a big fan of both albums.

@ mistertroy: roughly, imho is kinda sub par compared to spiderland and also its their second album that influenced more than a shitload of bands
