  well as the leader of this group i must admit i did it; i switched to debian a month or two ago, after using slackware for around 10 years. i first installed slackware '96 (3.1) in 1997 and have used different versions of slack more or less constantly ever since, but honestly, at this point i'm fed up with not having a package management system worth the name. i love slackware and its philosophy and hope it will be around forever but for daily desktop usage, time has caught up with it; for me it got to be more trouble than it was worth administering a slack system. sorry!

  I have used slackware 12.2 for one month and I feel it really good But when I ask the others if they have ever used slackware,the answer let me down so I hope more and more poeple can use slackware--a really good linux

  i use slackware versions since 2007 and i can say that it's my favorite distro...zenwalk is quite good as well, but i suppose that is because it is slack-based, jejejeje...please check something i have posted...i want your opinion: http://www.last.fm/forum/34905/_/517413
