  To bad a great 80s band had to bite the dust and loose its popularity to music nowaday :S ah.. the good old days (Dont know how it was being only 19) And I just made a new simple minds fan, he was a big fan of The Cure, I asked him if he had heard of Simple minds, "ah yes, the breakfeast club song, cool song" I sent him the album Live - In The City Of Light, and now he`s hooked =D

  Update: looks like it was just a case of picky software. Creative MediaSource 5 didn't recognize the disc properly, yet I managed to rip its contents with GoldWave and my CD player also played it without any problems whatsoever.

  Does anyone else have problems with the reissued Themes discs? My PC has problems with Theme 3, citing that it's a "DTS disc" or something, refusing to play or rip it.

  Martinzen: great to hear that there are other younger fans too. I totally agree what you said about some of the live version sounding better: for example I'm not a fan of the studio recording of Someone, Somewhere (in Summertime) but the Live in the City of Light version works. Just remember that it's not a pure live album, they did patch it a lot in studio later on. The "music videos"... oh man, I gotta write an article about those, they're freaking hilarious.

  I`m a 18 year old boy who thinks Simple Minds have amazing music. My most favorite album is : Live - In the City of Light. And "promised you a miracle" is my most favorite song. But that is the live one from the album. Its strange how I find the studiorecorded song "wierd" ( atleast if you look at the musicvideo while you listen to that song =P ) But the live version on the other hand is just .. words cant describe how much I like that song =D I`ve find it some times that most liverecorded songs get better than studio, but that`s just me. So I recomend that album to all the Simple Minds fans here. Its also has their superhit "dont you forget about me"
