  The new album sounds happily much better then DMD, not like the older ones yet, but it's more acceptable. And it seems they are trying to sound like old SS.

  Couldn't agree more Sirius. But listening to some of the new songs, The Unseen Empire sounds like it's going to be WAY better than DMD. I fucking hated DMD, but i really like the new songs from TUE.

  I pity that the Band hat to exchange the outstanding Älvestam for the two new mediocre frontsingers. In my perception, DMD didnt even reach half the Quality of any of the three previously released records. I mean now they sound like an average power metal band with some death metal grolws. In direct comparison, the new clean vocalist is abashedly bad! Its just not the same anymore...well, but i hope they get better with that new record- which would include less eunuchian chanting

  Is the image above the confirmed cover art for teh new album? I don't like it. White covers of metal cds usually foretell a disaster. In Flames' Reroute to Remain being the leading example.

  When I first heard this band, all I listened to was The Illusionist and some other tracks in PBP. I'm glad I explored this band! Wonder when the next stuff will come out. [2] same here

  Update: So what's going on in the Scar Symmetry camp? They're getting ready for the US tour in November. They will probably record the next album soon (winter 2010/2011). Nothing more to report for now :-)
