  Don't know but I wouldn't put money against it. He's been pretty reliably releasing every other April/May for the last 3-4 albums. It's getting to the point where it's hard to imagine a Satch album not coming out in either April or May 2010.

  Yeah, the heat sensitive artwork is really cool. Chickenfoot is a(n) band/album that needs a lot of time getting used to, a lot of people quickly toss it off saying it's nothing special, but they haven't listened to it enough by far, because this album is truly amazing

  I guess similar in that they play instrumental guitar. Satriani just happens to be my favorite. No blasphmy against our God. I was just saying.

  David Thornton doesn't remind me of Satch at all. His style is very different from Satriani's to my ears. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing. Perhaps more in common with Greg Howe, Todd Grubbs or Dave Martone?

When I heard his album I felt like I was listening to a new Satch record. He is very good. You can also pickup the mp3s or stream online at http://www.myspace.com/davidloganthornton. The song "Mister Muckenfuss" is probably my favorite. Let me know what you think! Trust me, its worth checking out.

  And it seems my post was removed. Oh well here's a funny Satch fact: The way "Satch" is pronounced is exactly the same as 'hair' is pronounced in Turkish :P (and I know, I'm Turkish). I just realized it a minute ago.
