    Who is the most exciting act this year?

    Hi guys,

    Just thought it would be interesting to hear who everyone is looking forward to seeing this year. Being british im championing Hard-Fi and The Futureheads! Check them out!

    i'd like to see dub trio. they're playing with sub oslo at the flamingo cantina on saturday. just trying to decide whether or not i should make that eight-hour drive from baton rouge. would like to see echo base soundsystem too.

    i cought hard fi at the long branch inn they were quite good actually, never heard of them before, was only there for selfish cunt as his performance is amusing and i had to see it a second time.

    the highlights for me this year were:
    Goldie lookin chain
    the immediate
    old man river
    selfish cunt
    hot chip

    if youre going you should definitely check out Annuals. they arent on the artist list yet but i know them and they say they'll be there. they're playing austin, and you can listen to them at http://www.purevolume.com/annuals or http://www.myspace.com/annuals

    Polysics was AMAZING. Wow. Blew my mind. Next time they won't be playing at 8, that's fer sure.

    Last Year I saw The Living End really close to the Covention Center and they fucking rocked. I was in the front and I got the singers sweat all over me. It was a free show.

    All 3 bands are an absolute must see. So good live. Post War Years are my secret obsession at the moment. They are going to be huge.

    Electric Touch. they are an austin band, but their singer is british which makes them a really interesting blend of texas boogie and brit indie rock. think spoon meets cheap trick meets mick jagger. plus they kill live.
