A group for Rentokill fans.

The band was found in 1996 and they published two D.I.Y demos in 1999 and 2001. Their first album Back To Convenience was released in 2004 on Rise or Rust Records and on Broken Heart Records. After touring through England and Germany Back To Convenience got re-released by Vitaminepillen Records and Engineer Records. They continued touring through Europe and started to record their new album in spring 2006. This album called Antichorus was released on the 18th of May 2007 on RUDE Records, No Reason Records and Broken Heart Records with a following tour through Europe.

Rentokill plays a mix of punk and hardcore sometimes influenced by other music genres. They are a quite political band and the lyrics also deal with issues like vegetarianism, veganism, animal rights and human rights.

Just today an Austrian guy asked me what band I was listening at the moment and I said Rentokill (I tend to listen a lot of bands but amazingly I was listening to them)and he looked perplexed... I think that the origin never matters, the important is the message...or the rhythm, and in this case Rentokill have both.

yeah, i know that we live in a globalized world. But to my experience austrian bands are not very popular! I Think they are excellent and like them much.

We live in a globalized world, it's quite easy know bands from all around the world, but I prefer European Punk Rock ;D The truth is that I get to knew them because they sent me a friend request in Myspace...then I listened their songs and well, I found out that they express what I think trough their lyrics...
