Right, Paul fans, I have thus far failed in my duty to remind/inform you guys about the release of United States!

United States is a collaboration between Paul and an almost unknown singer called Freddie Nelson. (Tag it: Paul Gilbert & Freddie Nelson.)

Unfortunately for the instrumental fans, this is a vocal album, but as with anything Paul related it's well worth listening to and buying. Freddie Nelson has had comparisons to Freddie Mercury drawn by a large number of listeners if that helps you make up your mind.

Thus far, my favourite track on the album is the opener The Last Rock And Roll Star.

...If I find the person who first scrobbled all the tracks in caps lock, there'll be so much scorn sent in your theoretical direction you won't even feel it hitting you. Yeah! That much scorn!
