    Forty years ago today, August 22, 1969, was my first trip... mescaline... watched "Yellow Submarine" and went back to a friend's apartment in Washington, DC, had just been to Woodstock, read Carlos Castaneda while drinking some of Joan Baez's Liebfraumilch and eating some of her sardines (which it turned out she liked in tomato sauce). My friend Mark, a reporter for Milwakee's underground rag Kaleidoscope, had a backstage pass and met Joan's mother. I was secretly in love with his girlfriend Marilyn, but it would be three more months before I lost my virginity to her. A damn fine year!

    The best year rock music has ever had. The Velvet Underground &Nico The Doors Parable of Arable Land Are You Experienced? Safe As Milk Surrealistic Pillow Sgt Pepper Pipers at the Gate of Dawn Days of Future Passed and plently more which I can't think of right now...

    And also kaleydoscop - Tengerine Dream Love - Forever Changes the Doors- The Doors Rolling Stones - Between the buttons (ok less important than Their Satanic.. for psyche music, but I really like it ..and many more 1967 was the goldne age of music I think
