Progressive Rock Epics Playlist

  • in the middle of...

I'm currently in the process of listening to every song in my music collection exceeding 10 minutes in length. The overwhelming majority of these will be prog songs of course and when I am finished I will post a full journal entry detailing the results of this "experiment". So keep your collective eyes out.

Signature Police Curser and Pre-80's Prog Guru at:
  • Lizard-Crimson
    Tarkus-ELP
    Thick as a Brick-Jethro Tull
    A Passion Play-Jethro Tull
    Dogs-Pink Floyd
    Shine on-Pink Floyd
    Atom Heart Mother-Pink Floyd
    Echoes-Pink Floyd
The Wall and Darkside as entire albums-Floyd
    Close to the Edge-Yes
    Tales From Topographic Oceans(Entire album)-Yes
    Gates of Delirium-Yes
    Awaken-Yes
    MDK(entire album)-Magma
    1001 Centigrades(entire album)-Magma
    Kohntarkoz(parts 1 and 2)-Magma
    Hostsejd-Anglagard
    The Gumbo Variations-Frank Zappa

What's the minimum for an epic anyways, fifteen minutes? I get a pretty epic feeling after some 9 minute songs.
