KDE for emotions. Amarok for ears of Metal. Arch linux for nerves of steel. And Kate for the feeling of coding.

... Which just reminds me of replacing my old kubuntu avatar :D

For personal use it's Fedora; the work environment requires Windows, sadly... Most editing is done in vim; any large-scale projects reside in eclipse. For browsing the web I recently started using vimperator.

    Windows 7.

Also, Ubuntu 10.4 on a KDS 66T. It doesn't appear to like eGalax touchscreen drivers and Cisco/Linksys WUSB600N-EU USB Adapters though. Its resolution is also too low in VirtualBox. Maybe i should give RedHat another try.

“Brazil’s cattle industry [...] is responsible for about 80 percent of all deforestation in the Amazon. In fact, the Brazilian cattle industry is the largest single source of deforestation anywhere in the world. And deforestation in turn causes one-fifth of all the greenhouse gas emissions in the world, more than all the world’s cars, trucks, trains, planes, and ships combined.” - Lindsey Allen

    Windows 7 x64 and Kubuntu 10.10 x86

  • Slackware 13.1 x86_64. Switched from 32bit finally. Apart from 4GB ram visible without recompiling kernel it's hard to tell that it's 64bit. No issues whatsoever, there's even x64 flash plugin available, yay!

  • I am starting to make Snow Leopard my main OS. I got a nice MacBook Pro 17'' in January and I love it. Sadly, it won't replace my (awfully bad) Windows desktop anytime soon thanks to the mere fact I can't stack 3 1 TB drives inside the MacBook.

  • OS: Arch Linux
    WM: Openbox
    Text Editor: Vim
    Music Player: Qmmp

  • Now, On ma laptop I have a win7x64 n I must said It's very good :)
I'm using win fo turbo bost technology :)

See a Penny, pick it up and all day long you'll have good luck!
  • Setup

    Here is my current conf:

OS: Windows XP Professional SP2 32 bits x86
    Development tools: Codeblocks (C)
    ---- libs: pdcurses+ GTK+

This in on a unstable P4 PC.

That's all for now, I used to have lots of Linux dist installed and other UNIX-like OSs, but since my PC started to die and other various reasons, I decided to stop dealing with installing other OS (my SATA HD isn't working properly, MB bus damaged), my brother use Ableton Live and some other music development tools that doesn't exist in that way on Linux, So Windows XP is the solution (No I'm not loving Windows hehe).

I'm going to receive a Laptop soon, umm there, I will go into my Linux world.

Live from someplace with the MDR-V6.
