- all you need is a instrument costing less than 1 quid, purchased from a pound shop to join!

Upload your pictures and samples, lyrics and footage... we will do the rest!

Be aware that there are lots and lots of musical equipment for sale in pound stores... squeeky pet toys, kids self-reading books, bird feeders marakahs etc..

you will be amazed by the sounds you will find!

Remember - receipts are required for membership so ask in poundland!

    Ok, I managed to acquire 13 pound instruments (admittedly the trumpet makes the same sound as the sax but nonetheless...) so I think we should start doing some recordings! Project 1. Tempo : 90 BPM Record some sounds with your instrument and report back here. I am setting us up a nice website so we can blend everything together and start sketching out some songs. So far, we got some great names for tunes over at http://troublewithnames.tumblr.com/ Get recording!

    I've got a harmonica which cost a bit more than a £1. I think it was £2. But I can borrow Mum's egg slicer which ought to balance things out.
