You guys run lights all the time.

  • most cyclists don't do that, you're just seeing the fringe group of dickwads and assuming we're all like that. problem is, cyclists do that too with car drivers.

  • <3 Portland! So what are your guys' favorite restaurants in the portland area?

  • Sushiville on NW 23rd is great.
I almost always stop there on my way to concerts.

  • lol Aaron, what a coincedence, you are here too. Sushiville is great. I could do without all the Hipsters in Portland, who move here because they've heard how awesome we are, so they want to come here, when in fact they are just bringing their cancerous selves to make Portland more generic and less unique. :(

More bikes, less cars. More MAX, too. Less "new homes," more urban greenspace conservation.

  • PDX I guess is nice enough, for an airport. It is cleaner than most.

Portland is fine, but I liked it better before all these people came here, put all this traffic on the streets, jacked up the cost of living and built the "Pearl District".

    grobble grobble grobble...

    And last week's scrobbles...

  • Wait

"Vegetarian sushi"? That's a paradox. I take that whole statement back...
And "tree mutilation" is really prevalent in the suburbs. The suburbs are just a miserable place to live.

  • Hmmm, so... Voodoo Doughnuts, are they really as spectacular as everyone says? I haven't tried 'em.

    On the subject of food

Where is the best Mac N Cheese in PDX? In the Vancouver, it's Black Stone Grill (smoked mac n cheese)....But where to go in Portland?

Lucky Strike. The Hot Pepper Chicken Bath is a religious experience.

Casa de Tamale in Milwaukie has some of the best burritos and fish tacos around. The fresh produce from the Canby Asparagus Farms really makes a difference.

Sorabol used to have the best sushi I've had on the west coast before they discontinued their sushi line. Their Korean food is still excellent though.

The Montage if you're drunk and it's after midnight - some spicy old mac and some frog legs are the best thing for beer munchies in this town.

The Matador has an incredible happy hour appetizer menu, both price-wise and quality-wise.

I haven't had a bad experience at any of the pho places in town.

    Je via sano, bons vivants!
  • Why in god's name...

Are the street signs one-sided?!?!?! Call this a big pet peeve of mine when I'm looking for a particular street.

    IDIOCY.

and we don't even get paid for trying.

There's a Mac n Cheese cart on Greeley on the north side....Starchy and Husk.....7 cheeses, but I could do without the butternut squash.... And people keep talking about the Montage's, but I haven't had it there yet.
