Did you buy it?

No need to hide away, just wondering for the sake of interest did you buy your version of Photoshop? or did you torrent it? or even crazily used something like limewire to do it. (Personally, I bout Photoshop 7, and than I didn't bother getting CS 2, so I torrented that).

Actually, yeah, I did. Well, I got it for my birthday one year, so *I* technically didn't buy it. I never want anything for my birthday anyway, so my mom was ok just buying that even though it was expensive.

I originally downloaded it from Kazaa though...but then my comp crashed (probably cause of Kazaa, haha) and I lost it.

Nope, I am NOT paying $600 (more since I'm in Canada) for a program I can't use to it's full potential. I'm not that good anyway (not as good as most of you, from what it looks like), so no point.

It's not any sense to buy Photoshop unless you're using it professionally or commercially. If Adobe released a personal edition which was reasonably priced, I'd be more than willing to buy that, as long as the majority of the functionality remained in it.

So, no, I didn't buy it.

of course not, i don't know anybody who has bought it. i'm assuming adobe makes their profit from large corporations, because they sure aren't making much money from the average consumer.

I got my version of CS2 from school. We have to practice it anyway, so they have to make sure everyone has the program. Pretty convenient if you ask me.

btw i've heard adobe doesn't mind if teenagers etc copy photoshop because piracy has made photoshop the leading image manipulation app

half same situation since my brother lent me his copy. Unfortuanely, my CD drive is busted so I can't put on CS2 =___=
