Two books in my library that I like:

1 - Wild Style, the sampler by Charlie Ahearn on Amazon...

2 - Yes Yes Y'all by Jim Fricke and Charlie Ahearn on Amazon

There's no bad music, just bad arrangements.
  • Hip Hop Culture by Emmet G. Price is really good.
Lots of history on the graffiti culture and hip hop from the begining all the way up to 2005. Shows a lot of exploition of new hip hop by big companies and how much more original it is when it's about creativity rather than paychecks.

Can't Stop, Won't Stop: A History of the Hip-Hop Generation is a pretty thorough book. I'm re-reading it right now, haha.
