Post your top ten overall artists

We all like to think we're pretty eclectic, but let's see for real post 'em up. For bonus points find the thread that ties them all together.

    1 Sting 141

    2 Kanye West 134

    3 Anthony Hamilton 124

    4 Corinne Bailey Rae 112

    5 Amy Winehouse 110

    6 Bill Withers 97

    7 The Roots 86

    8 Musiq (Soulchild) 84

    9 John Legend 82

    10 Sam Cooke 81

My shit is very think in the soulful category, have of the shit Kanye samples in soul music. Sting uses mostly jazz melodies in his music, same can be said for Ms. Winehouse.

    Your turn!

Yeah, good call. The Mars Volta too. Guitars aren't the first thing I think of when I think Rick James, but they're there. That leaves Marley at the top but who could compare to him? :)
