  I've been listening to Kate Bush a lot lately and I just find it kind of funny how much she and Madonna have in common (born two weeks apart, studied dance before making their first albums, had their first kids at around the same age, lived in the same country for 10+ years, have 30+ years in the industry) yet their personalities and music couldn't be more dissimilar. It's fascinating to me, really.

  i haven't enjoyed a madonna album this much since 2003. yes, i'm one of the few that actually like AL. weakest songs for me- "i'm a sinner" & "i'm addicted".

  YAY! Some Girls and Superstar are my least favorite, (and I didn't listen the LMFAO remix, I can imagine how it sounds) the other tracks sound pretty good. Hey only 3 ppl in this group? Where are the other members!?!?

  After hearing all seventeen tracks (p.s. I'm never listening to that LMFAO remix of GMAYL again), I give it a tentative YAY. It held my interest all the way through, at least, and there weren't any non-remix songs that I found COMPLETELY terrible.

  I managed to hold out until I got it in the mail today. I just popped it in but I'm only on GGW still. It's grown on me actually. I think the video's decent, especially compared to her last couple of second single videos. But it was the dancing pink bikini chick who turned the song around for me, lbr.

  Y'know, I used to be so into Gaga and defended her, but I just can't anymore. Every time she opens her mouth, I just want to smack her. And she's so full herself and her "art" and her "messages" and refuses to admit the similarities between Born This Way and Express Yourself. It's just like... ughhhh. Kylie is an ego-free island with a pleasant personality, longevity and in the mid-90's she was right there with M in mixing pop with actual art, so that's why I'll give her a pass but not the rest of them. I mean I can't believe Britney's only become MORE of a robot over time, for example.

  That is strange because I haven't even scrobbled anything this week, as I've secretly been checking out Kylie Minogue's back catalogue without scrobbling it. I admit that if there's any pop girl who could come second in my heart after M, it's Kylie and none of the other wannabes. Please don't boot me! ;)

  I'm actually the opposite. GMAYL has stupid lyrics but at least there's personality on the song sort of. GGW is just so GENERIC from the vocals to the music to the lyrics. William Orbit did say that the singles are not indicative of the rest of the album though, so... there's that.

  the video made me like it more but it'll never be a classic. neither will Girl Gone Wild but i am liking it much better than GMAYL
