Why do beings come into existence? maybe it's in our education to seek for a purpose. but still..

This is the real nihilistic group, as I've seen all the others on this site are quite stupid and irrelevant, many of them not really debating or understanding what nihilism is.

People joining this group should agree that beyond all local and temporal pleasures, to a "trained" eye life still looks like a bad joke. We just come into existence without knowing anything about the reality of the matter. Except for the stupid tales that some people invent to justify a sense in being alive.

If you don't think life looks just like a sad joke it clearly means you haven't lived enough and you probably shouldn't join here.
This being said, debates about the usefulness/uselessness of being alive or the meaning of it, are encouraged.

That there's really no point in pondering about life. Sure, there is no point in anything, but unless answering these questions somehow satisfies you, it's really just better to waste your time on something emotionally pleasing. I guess.

You are over-thinking your existence. Before this common era of humanity all we did was hunt and gathering and fuck. That's essentially all you should really care about, since we don't hunt and gather anymore the arts and going for hikes/biking fill that gap for me. You should feel free because of nihilism and not less free.

Life has no meaning, each person is supposed to create their own meaning through life experience. To live life fully is to be true to one's self and be become an individual instead of a mindless clone of the mass populace. At least that's what I think, I bet my views will change as I grow older and the more I think about this topic. :/

You're right, but I don't believe that there exist any method, which could prove anything undeniably. Content of all words, opinion, claims can be negated, and this is becouse they don't based on undeniable claims, but only on artificial assumptions. Nothing is based on safe basis, everything is based on nothing. I don't say that my statement is true, however it hard to me to imagine that is otherwise...

in such matters we can only delay or suspend judgement until we have enough proof to reach a valid, irrefutable conclusion. though I highly doubt that humanity will ever reach this point.

JanKrakow171, I don't completely agree with what you said. saying that there is no way to know what is the absolute truth, implies that you have already tried an infinite number of methods and thus came to this final conclusion. but given the fact that we have a limited experience we can't practically cover every possible method of reaching absolute truth, or of even finding out if such a notion exists.
