Favourite New Order Album?

Technique, Technique, Technique. Hands down my favourite. Simply mind-blowing.

I have to put Brotherhood second: What a simply amazing record. If it's not the godliness of Bizarre Love Triangle it's the air-punching rock tracks and the sheer fun of the two closers.

Power, Corruption & Lies is up there, but as melinaa said above me it's a bit rocky, at least according to me. However, Age of Consent, The Village, 586, Your Silent Face and Leave Me Alone make it an easy favourite.

Then comes Substance and Low-Life. Substance has a comfortable lead here. NO were always very good about singles and the single versions of some of the album tracks from Low-Life presented here are much better than their album equivalents I feel (most notably The Perfect Kiss). Also, you can't go wrong with Blue Monday

I enjoy Technique the most, usually. Either that or P,C and L followed by Movement followed by Low Life. It depends on my mood, though. When I'm feeling depressed, Movement's my favorite; when I'm angry, Low Life; happy, Technique.

Low Life. this and Brotherhood are my favorite incarnation of the band.
i can listen to them front-to-back more so than the others.

I couldn't choose between Low-Life and Technique as to my favourite. Between them all though there is something which makes each album good in my opinion.

It's sort of a tie between PC&L and Low-Life for me. Low-Life would be flawless if not for that poorly edited version of Perfect Kiss.

My top 3 are Technique, Brotherhood, and Low-Life. A top 5 would include Substance and PC&L.

Substance was my first New Order album and still is my favourite. But, of course, is a collection of 12 inches.
As for original songs, Techique is the best because is consistent and shows in perfection what New Order is: a mix of rock and electronic music.

You can download the best playlists in the net in horamalditos.blogspot.com. The blog is in portuguese, but the playlists are international. Enjoy!

I grew up listening to Power, Corruption & Lies and i am listening to it right now. Your Silent Face, Age Of Consent and Leave Me Alone - it doesn`t get any better than that.

i can't decide.

I think Substance is thier best, or maybe Republic, no wait, Technique....damb it, i can't decide. All of their albums are awsome.
