  Sway, 5th Feb, Southampton (UK) "The Soul Cellar", and 18th March - Taskforce, at the same venue. One may attend the Taskforce gig, though I've not heard anything from them for ages!!! I do have "Wha Blow" on limited edition vinyl!!

  Oh, I didn't think you were being consending...I was trying to figure out where Kanye(very commercial agreed), Lil Wayne & T.I. etc fit in. Nelly's acquired taste, but I'd rate the three above as commercial. And you saying nelly's the best commercial shit you've heard in a while left me a bit skeptical.

  Commercial = P.Diddy, Ma$e, Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, Solja Boy, Bow Wow, 50 Cent, Coolio, LL Cool J....you catch my drift. Yes, all of the above can / have / might produce something that is not "commercial", i.e. not looking for instant chart success, but their main focus is to get into the charts with a catchy chorus. I am not mocking the above, I am simply trying to define "commercial". All of the above have made some very good tracks, it's just that Nelly's most recent album is far better than the last efforts that any of them have made.

  I think that Nelly is shite as well. His previous albums have been not at all good (though the St Lunatics album was ok'ish after a few listens). He's had a few good singles, but no more than that. But seriously, the new Nelly album "Brass Knuckles" is good. It is the best commercial album I've heard for a long time. Check out the track "Bay" which is a japanese bonus or something!!! If you listen, you will be impressed!

  Anyone else listen to the new Nelly album? In terms of commercial hip hop albums, that is one nice album. Far better than anything I've heard in a long time (on a commercial front). The track "Lie" is very nice.
