  I use Lala to preview albums I am considering downloading from eMusic. Since eMu has only 30 second samples, I check lala to see if they've got the full length. So I do lots of listening there. Of course, they don't get any benefit directly from me because I don't buy stuff there. I either use my eMu subscription, get other stuff in trade, or buy CDs directly.

  I want to let you all know about a new feature in lala, if any of you are still over there trading and especially listening. There is a beta feature almost no one knows about - you can get lala to scrobble your listens there and add them to your stats here. Go into Account (upper right of Lala) and then click on the Beta Tab. click on the link there and ask to be part of the Beta for last.fm. Anselm or someone will get back to you and activate you. Then go BACK into the account tab and activate the scrobbling. I am also integrating lala listens with my Facebook account (same beta). It works GREAT - just look at my recent listening history of whole albums - it's all from lala, not from my iPod.

  Well we could always contact the leader to "I still buy CD's" and see if we could partner up. Or I was also thinking that we could add links to MB on our signatures, so when we post around last.fm people could see our MB link.
