  Cuando era pequeña empecé a conocer el estilo musical de Mozart...en las clases de música en primaria desde ese mismo instante me impacto...al oírle todo era repleto de tranquilidad y de inquietudes por aprender más al mismo tiempo.. Algunos de mis obras favoritas...La flauta mágica que hace tiempo tuve la grata experiencia de poder vivirla y sentirla en directo...su interpretación...fue un placer...

  today, at last, the package arrived. yes, friends, i finally own the philips complete mozart edition set. why did it take me so long? what is $1k compared to what i've already spent on classical music? i don't know. i guess it was easier to spend $20k slowly than it was to spend $1k all at once. but i now have the crown jewel of my classical collection - past, present, & future.

  i've just listened the Concerto for Flute and Harp KV299-297c, and i have to say that i've heard all Violin Concertos, String Quintets, Piano Concertos, Dances and Marches, but i've never found something so boldly and purely beautiful as this Concerto. I'm truly amazed.

  I'm attending yet another performance of Mozart's Requiem friday night. If you are in the massachusetts area, you should attend! It's being put on by the Boston University Choral Society on Friday, May 2nd, 2008 @ 8:00pm - 10:00pm. Address is : 735 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02215 There is no dress code.
