    Like the title says, what scores (and I do mean scores, not soundtracks) according to you outclass the movie they were made for. Let me start off with this one:



    This gem is a long standing and well known cult classic amongst score collectors. It's by far Poledouris' best work. The movie wasn't really bad but the music outshines it. The score within the movie functions as a sort of operatic narrative because their was too little dialogue, this was a special request of director John Milius to Poledouris.

    Movie sucked, the soundtrack is fantastic.
