    Buried alive

I've been lazy for some time, sorry...
But listening to the Buried alive record reminded me of opening a thread about it.

I really think releasing this DVD was the best they could do. So every Sentenced fan has the chance to witness the funeral of Sentenced - and it was a very emotional funeral. Emotional for the band and emotional for the audience as you can see at least Ville and Sami Kukkohovi cry and also many fans.
The setlist is amazing, in my opinion. It's a great mixture of all songs of Sentenced, of all feelings they had and they created in their songs over all these years - sadness, aggression, anger...

I have watched the DVD quite often since I got it but it never loses its "magic"...

Yes, the DVD is really amazing. Some powerful tracks, some old ones with the old singer and some slower / painful tracks. One of the songs that really kicks ass is "No One There". I did not count how often I watched the DVD since december but it's really gives me the creeps every time this track is played...

I feel exactly the same about this concert but the songs that give me the creeps are mostly "Aika multaa muistot", "The rain comes falling down" and "The end of the road", sometimes also others, but this depends on the mood I'm in while watching the DVD. These songs are really touching...don't know how to express it rightly ;)
Really kicking ass is "Sun won't shine", in my opinion, especially the blonde girl appearing on the screen alternating with Ville as she represents the whole audience really having fun...

Besides, doesn't the one guy with the glasses after No One There look like a copy of John Lennon? A tall guy with glasses and little beard. I had to laugh after watching him *lol*

It's so sad to watch Burried Alive. its great to hear they and its very exciting to see one more time Taneli Jarva with guys but when "Aika multaa muistot" starts we know that its the last time... and "End of the road" past this concert wouldn't be the same for me ever. It really was the best what they could do for us - fans. Its brilliant farewell and we must live further.

  • when I watch this DVD, I feel sadness and relief. The greatest band is gone, but as they decided on this split, we only have to let them go
