This is an UNOFFICIAL fan's tribute to Minnie Riperton.

Minnie Riperton began her singing career as a member of the pop rock group, The Rotary Connection. After leaving the group, Minnie launched her solo career which achieved its zenith in March 1975 when the now classic "Lovin' You" went to the top of the pop charts. Minnie was blessed with a gift of a rare vocal quality, which allowed her to cover a multi-octave range. Her career was brought to a most untimely end with her tragic death in 1979.

You deserves all the awards, achievements and recognition in the world because you are truly the 9th wonder of the world, right behind your dear friend, Stevland Morris. I am enjoying discovering your music and listening to it with the same excitement as a child opening their Christmas gifts. Thank you for being a baby's breath of enlightenment and truthfulness.     If I had to choose just one...though there are many, "Inside My Love" is a special song...and Chante Moore's version comes quite close to the original -- Minnie is so hard to emulate, but very beautiful to love. Thanks for your comments and for the shared love of the music.
