  And another thing - what is it with this bullshit view that the US is the homeland of metal, or has all the best bands? Its a shithole, only good for tired, inconsistent bands, sellout bands, trend bands, metalcore bands, etc...Nile and Dream Theater are good, and they did have Jazz fusion, and Their industrial and thrash metal scenes were great in their fairly short - lived peaks, but that's about it.

  Does this group go against that thing that reaaly annoys me - all that embarassing 'defenders of the faith nonsense'? It actually upsets me that a band as good and talented as Opeth would join a tour with such a ridiculous name and cause - one of the reasons why I don't like Metal Hammer as much these days, because they claim that they are oh - so - metal, defending the faith, when actually they are the opposite - going crazy about dreadfully mediocre mainstream bands like slipknot, metallica and arch enemy. sure, the oldies have left their mark on the music world, but isn't it about time that 'true metalheads' did what is really the 'true' thing, which is exploring bands that have had a long and well respected underground career, and newcoming bands that are bringing new ideas to music. The narrowmindedness of not only the average metal fan, but the average metal magazine such as Metal Hammer, really annoys me.
