I don't see why everyone thinks that's funny, it makes sense. They're both boring and repetitive.

Huddled in the cellar, fear caught in their eyes. Daring not to move or breathe, as the creature cries. Fingernails start scratching on the outside wall. Clawing at the windows, "Come to me" it calls. Atmosphere's electric, as it now descend the stairs. Hiding in the darkness is so futile from its glare. dragonforce is really reptitive. They are fun when you first listen to them but rapidly become boring. Its not really technical aswell just layered like hell.

Modern Metallica fans are a lot like battered wives- they are constantly bruised and abused, but just can't take a hint and find someone better. Metallica made it loud and clear with their Napster lawsuit (which is, quite possibly, the lamest moment in the entirety of rock history) that making money is their one and only goal- not expressing unique and occassionally controversial ideas, writing insanely intricate and high-quality music, or giving back to the fans that support them, which are all things that Megadeth is dedicated to. Metallica has screwed over fans ever since their self-titled, or "black" album (way to rip off of Spinal Tap), and has not recovered from their weak, soft period yet, which Megadeth has already done with the excellent "The System Has Failed". Anybody who would choose to buy or even listen to St. Anger is a FREAK.

First off, Metallica wouldn't be half as famous as they are today if they hadn't ripped off Dave & used his riffs & solos.

Dave is more like Tony Iommi than James Hetfield, that will say... Dave writes better riffs than James!

When Metallica sold out by making "Black Album" they lost much of their quality, when Megadeth sold out with "Countdown To Extinction" they didn't lost quality.

Megadeth has made more outstanding or excellent albums then Metallica have!

& finally, Megadeth just beats the shit out of Metallica! I'm not sayin' that I hate Metallica or that they're bad but I like Megadeth A LOT more!

You know that kind of guy you see slip on ice during winter, and although he's okey, he still lays down 'cause he doesn't bother to get up? Well, that kind of guy is me ... and what can I say? I feel pretty much like a real-life Al Bundy.

metallica is ok, they have a few great songs and i respect them... but megadeth songs are perfect for me, i can really get into them and enjoy for hours... metallica doesn't have that effect on me (:

Mustaine kicks ass

The only reason is that Megadeth has Mustaine and Metallica dont. Metallica copied Mustain's style & several songs in the first years and they also had Cliff.
Metallica sold themselves for money and now they dont now how to make good music. And you can see in some kind of monsters that Metallica are assholes except the new bass player.

Even if they did, that argument is still moot, as they started it with dave. Dave was one of the major reasons early Metallica was great.

And even if they did invent thrash metal, they still screwed up big time when they sold out (I know that Megadeth did too during the 90's too, but they've made up for it and gone back to the way they are meant to be) and sued Napster. Just because someone did something great in the past doesn't mean that they should be able to get away with whatever they want in the present. Metallica sux- now, anyways.

Listen St. Anger, ReLoad and Load and after listen United Abominations, The System Has Failed and The World Needs A Hero and compare them.
But I love first five Metallica albums.

Disagree if you want, but here is what I think. I like Megadeth and I hate all Metallica from Master of Puppets onwards. Kill 'Em all and Ride the Lightning are decent, but weak compared with Dave Mustaine's work in Megadeth.

Mustaine > Hetfield
Megadeth > better song writers than Metallica

Well there are a lot of reasons...

Lets see, Megadeth has better riffs, better solos, better lyrics and better drum work. Wehn you actually come to think of it,

Vocals --> Metallica > Megadeth
Rest (almost) EVERYTHING --> Megadeth > Metallica

Besides, Megadeth has been reasonably consistent unlike Metallica who just died after 4 albums.
