The best Megadeth guitarist

My favorite Megadeth guitarist has to Marty Freidman. He rocks! I love his single works too.

Easily Marty Friedman he was too good for thrash/speed metal in the end (no disrespect as i like the genre) but his solo albums are immense aswell as the cacophony albums

yes, i'm looking forward to Drover too. Chris was good in "The System had Failed" but the album didn't have the old school sound I had hoped.

I enjoyed Chris Poland's playing on Peace Sells (album) but I still prefer Marty. His solos on Rust in Peace are amazing.

Well if marty friedman is so good then why did he left them ? Well i didn't listen to the new albums that he made but i don't really care about it.. as long as he doesn't plays in megadeth...

He left because he was growing weary of the genre.

Anyway, Marty is my favorite, but I think Glen is the most technically talented guitarist Megadeth has ever had.

All guitarists were awesome - Chris, Al, Marty... But the future is Glen. I love Al and Marty, but Drover Rox my world. 2 Hands for Glen!

Cannot say who's the best since all Megadeth's guitarists have been tough enough, since they have been able to play Deth's songs.

Glen Drover and Marty Friedman are my favourites, both of them have their own playing style and both of them have played many good solos.

When I saw Megadeth at Sauna Open Air 2007, I was kinda amazed how cleanly and correctly Glen played and how good guitarist chemistry he had with Dave, who's also a great player.

Friedman... I Haven't seen him live but on the albums, good work: Versatile and unique solos and easily good enough work on anywhere else on the albums too.
