Future Concerts

This post is for future concerts that you plan on attending.

I will begin with the Clap Your Hands Say Yeah/The Brunettes/Ad Astra Per Aspra concert on March 30. Practically my entire family will be attending, so that will be a new experience. I'm excited for all three bands; it will definitely be a packed night.

Appleseed Cast has a cd release party March 25 i think? is anyone going to that?

i will definitely be at the appleseed cast show that night. i'm going to try to make it to the clap your hands say yeah!/the brunettes/ad astra show. we'll see...

I will vouch for Paper Airplanes. They are awesome, epic rock (ballads?). you will definitely see my wife and I there. You can hear Paper Airplanes on myspace if you are still not sure.

I just checked the Lawrence.com website.

The Shins play at Liberty Hall on the 12th of February.
Should be pretty good considering their release of Wincing the Night Away on January 23rd. I believe they play on the 13th as well.

Pete Yorn is playing at the Granada on the 26th of February. Not too sure too many people listen to him... I'm a pretty big fan of his work on Musicforthemorningafter, but not so much on Nightcrawler.

Finally, I saw that Explosions in the Sky plays on the 31st of March at the Bottleneck. Might of heard their soundtrack for Friday Night Lights (pretty good football flick)... check out Greet Death by them... the guitar rift at the beginning blows my mind.

Anyway, hope this helps somebody

Yeah, the Shins play the 13th as well. Of Montreal one week later at the Granada. Cower in awe at Kevin Barnes with his mighty katana and a shiny new take on glam rock.

I have just discovered that Eluvium will be playing with Explosions in the Sky. Oh my face, I am so there in spades. urgh, it hurts knowing how awesome that night will be.

Was going to go to the Shins, but I waited too long to get my ticket. However, I will be attending Explosions in the Sky. And Isis. Pumped.

they sold out before I (and half of Lawrence) were able to get our tickets. Anybody got any good connections? Maybe they'll move it to the Granada as they have before... Anybody who's going want to buy some merchandise for me?
