This thread has been going years now - and still not fixed.

Just thought I would let you know my app still crashes and I still have to use the workaround which I really don't want to do because I like to see what is playing.

For what it's worth, I still have the same problem too.

Plays for a little while but then, after 4 songs or so, it crashes out to the home screen. I did notice that if the ipod's locked (and therefore the screen's off) it doesn't seem to crash, however, I tend to listen to my recommended station, and, because it's artists I don't current know, I tend to look at the screen often to see who it is so it crashes eventually.
