Import lastFM play count into your iTunes library

    Just unzip the binaries anywhere and run the executable. Make sure you install the prerequisites first though.

    UTF-8 Support

    Hey, just thought that I'd mention that this script is great but it is lacking support for special characters in artists and track names. It failed to import 822 plays for Einstürzende Neubauten when I ran the script, something for you to consider in the future releases.

  • I'm currently working on a native cocoa app to do just this. The main headache is a lack of a proper interface to itunes (I'm new to cocoa and carbon scares me). Fortunately I've found a decent third party one (eyetunes) and I've got something tangible. Right now I'm trying to handle all the issues that have been mentioned, such as multiple instances of the same track by the same artist etc. I'll let you guys know when it's useable.
